Based on ShellToys XP, our phenomenally popular collection of context-menu extensions, ShellToys XPress is a compact suite of 16 shell extensions adding indispenable file-management features to the Windows context menu for files, folders, windows and dialogs.
Right-click a single file to shred it; change its extension; alter its creation or modification date/time; change its attributes; copy its path to the clipboard; select all files with matching extensions; open it in Windows Notepad; or display its MD5 or CRC checksum.
Right-click a folder (or the background of the current folder window) to open a command prompt; copy its path to the clipboard; change its attributes; or create a new folder inside it. (You can even select multiple folders to quickly create new folders inside each!)
Right-click multiple files to rename them or change their extensions; create alpha-numeric filename sequences; copy/move files and folders to a different folder; securely shred files; copy their paths to the clipboard (including name-only and short-name options); change their creation/modification dates; or select all matching files in the folder.
Right-click a shortcut (or Internet shortcut) file to find out what file or URL it points to, run it, copy its path, or open the target`s folder.
Other features include fast access to Windows shut-down options; quickly adding items to your Send To menu; and the option to move your most-used ShellToys to the main context menu for even faster access. |
